Returns and Cancellations As with the Distance Selling Regulations we offer a 7 day money back guarantee.  You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the day the goods are received.

We expect you to return the item at your own cost, but not withstanding this should you exercise your right to cancel, we will ensure we make a refund to you within 30 days of the date of cancellation. If we have not received the item, or if you wish us to collect the item we reserve the right to deduct the cost of collecting the item before making a refund. Refunds will be made to the original payment card within 30 days of receipt.  If the product was offered with FREE delivery, we reserve the right to deduct the appropriate delivery charge before making a refund.

You must notify us beforehand of your intention to return an item or items using our contact us form, stating the reason for the return.           PRICES & VAT

All prices on the web site are in £'s sterling and include VAT at 20%.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made securely using one of the following methods: 1) MasterCard / Visa / Switch / Solo / Delta. 2) Cheque / Postal Order. Please make payable to CAMPING-ONLINE.CO.UK ensuring all details are correct with valid bankers card number, expiry date, full name, address and telephone number printed clearly on the reverse. We do advise customers not to send any cash through the post, as CAMPING-ONLINE.CO.UK will not be held responsible for any losses.

GUARANTEE

All our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise specified. If a fault does occur during this period, we shall arrange to have the item repaired or replaced after it has been inspected. Any delivery charges will be met after inspection of the item.

AVAILABILITY

We aim to hold all items in stock, however should an item be more popular than we expected, there may be occasional delays when ordering. If this does occur then an advice note will be attached with your invoice. Sometimes we may experience difficulties with the supply of certain products and may therefore provide a substitute of the same or better quality at no extra cost.

PART DELIVERY / DAMAGED GOODS

All your goods should arrive in perfect condition, however, if you do receive any goods that appear to be faulty or damaged, the company must be advised within 72 hours of receipt. This applies to any items that may appear to be missing, unless stated on the invoice that the item is currently out of stock. If any items are not to be used straight away, we advise customers to check that these have been received in perfect condition and working order. The company will do everything possible to ensure your delivery arrives on time and intact, we will not accept responsibility for any additional expenses occurred due to late or incomplete deliveries.

RETURNS PROCEDURE

All goods returned must be clearly labelled and have full documentation enclosed including reason for return. All returnable goods must be reported to the company. Goods returned without any notice will not be accepted. Carriage charges are non refundable . if the item returning is heavy and bulky we can arrange collection at the cost of 8.50 which will be deducted from your refund A member of our customer services department will arrange for collection of the goods through our carrier,     Return of goods which are faulty; or not of satisfactory quality; or not fit for purpose;
a. If you wish to return goods which you believe are damaged or faulty, please telephone us on 08452591407. We will discuss with you the best method of returning the item. If the item is reasonably small, it can be sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for goods which are lost in transit. If the item is large or bulky we will arrange with you for it to be collected by courier. 
b. Upon receipt by us of the goods, we will examine them for damage:

i) If the fault is obvious and inherent, we will process the refund, repair or exchange within 7 days of receipt of the goods;

ii) If the fault is not obvious, we may need to return the goods to the supplier for testing. We normally expect a response from the supplier within 4 weeks. The following products usually need to be examined by the supplier: electrical or gas appliances tents
c. In the event that the goods are found to be damaged or faulty, we will either:

i) refund to you the price you paid for the goods, plus the cost to you of returning the goods to us; or, after consulting with you:

ii) send to you a replacement and refund to you the cost of returning the product; or

iii) have the product repaired, return it to you and refund you for the cost of returning the product.

d. In the event that the fault or damage is not due to faulty manufacture, but to misuse or damage sustained after purchase, or subject to normal wear and tear, we will contact you to find out whether you wish the goods to be returned to you or repaired, if a repair is feasible. In these circumstances, both the cost of repair and return of the goods to you would be at your expense.

e. In the event that the damage to the goods has been contributed to by you or the goods have been in your possession for a period of time, we may consider giving you a partial refund for the goods. 

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions WEEE Regulations:

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

CAMPING-ONLINE LTD is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new toaster from us we would accept their old toaster and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
