This Continental 240v mains hook up adaptor is essential if you are going to Europe in a
caravan, campervan or motorhome or simply camping in a tent, trailer
tent or folding camper and you want to have the facility to have 240v
mains electric. The Continental adaptor just simply plugs into the
campsite’s electrical post and then plug your 10, 15 or 25 metre mains
lead into the socket and then connect the other end into your caravan,
campervan, motorhome or certain folding campers that have got mains
electric built-in. If you got a tent, trailer tent or folding camper
with out mains electric you need to purchase a triple mobile mains unit
(if you have’nt already got one) and repeat the process of plugging the
continental adaptor into the electric supply at the campsite then plug
the lead of the triple mobile mains unit into the other end of the
continental hook up adaptor. The Continental adaptor is also required if
you have got a boat and want mains electric at a marina in Europe.
